Thrift Store Wednesday! 2

So today I had to go to work, so I just had time to go to Value Village in the morning, and Goodwill at night right before it closed! And I'm SO glad I did, but anyways, first lets show my Value Village finds!

I got an OG doll and a little Sofia the First doll. I don't collect OG dolls, but she was only $5 and had the gorgeous dress and shrug on, so I bought the doll for those, and will probably sell the doll once I clean her and fix her hair. And I don't really like the show Sofia the First. I thought the concept was adorable, but it was the characters that I just could not stand, mainly with Sofia's voice and Amber's personality. But regardless, I thought this little doll was too cute to pass up, and she was only $1, so she came home.
Next was Value Village, I was kind of in a rush, but soon got disappointed as it looked like there was nothing for me. But as I looked through the last bin, my hear soared when I heard a familiar noise, and a pulled out a Babblin Boo doll!
Babblin Boo was a doll released in 2001, around when the movie was released, and she says little phrases from the movie. I have a re-released version, called Peek-a-Boo Boo, but that version had a bigger head, HUGE eyes, and she didn't have inset eyes. Babblin Boo has a sweeter face, and looks more realistic. My sister and I had one as a kid, but she was donated to a thrift store to my immense disappointment. So I feel like finding this Boo was like a nice circle of her coming back to me! And I will be sure to hold onto her this time!

Blind Bag Monday 2

So I recently picked up some blind bags for Blind Bag Monday. Pretty much all of these are new to me, because I really want to try out many of these and even review them a bit.
First was an official NFL series called TeenyMates. I'm really into watching football, so I was very excited to pick these up! I also notice they had similar packs but for NHL (hockey) and MLB (baseball) but since I don't watch the sports, I decided not to pick them up.
I also got a Frozen Funko Mystery figure, my first one ever, so I am excited to see these little characters in person.
I also got Justice League chibis, for the price I think they are a really great deal, plus I do have a love for superheros like everyone else : )
And then I got a second Adventure Time Mystery Plush Clip
And spongebob erasers.
So I started to open them, and found some amazing surprises!
I got two little figures of a Green Bay Packers player and a Jacksonville Jaguars player. To be honest I hadn't heard of the Jaguars before, but I was very excited to get the Green Bay Packers one, because I had just seen Pitch Perfect 2, and some of the players had a cameo that I really enjoyed! But I was disappointed that both figures look exactly the same, with just a different uniform. They were also very small, with the figures barely bigger than the tips of my fingers.
Overall I liked the football concept, but it seems very hard to find the team I really want, as well as them being a bit pricey for such tiny figures.
Next was the Frozen figures, and I got...
Kid Anna! She is so cute, I really like these Funko Mystery Figures so much, I will definitely expand to try other lines!
Next were the Justice League Chibis. I forgot to take a picture but I got Cyborg, Shazaam and Supergirl. They are really cute for their price.
And lastly were the Spongebob erasers.
I am wondering if having a snail come in every pack is the norm. Again I loved the detail on the snail, and most of Spongebob's detail was good, but I was disappointed that his face was just a sticker. But also his expression is very odd to me, kind of more like a Squidward expression than the happy Spongebobs! But in the end I can't really complain. This was a very fun Blind Bag Monday and I'm looking forward to Thrift Store Wednesday!

Birthday Haul 2015

Almost a week later, I figured it was time to post what I got for my birthday! I had a busy day with my family, first we went to several Value Villages in the area, and here is my toy haul!
I also got some clothes, but these are my toy finds. For the first time I got a Lalaloopsy, I had become interested in them, but this one was only $1.50, so it was the push I needed to get my first one. I also got a Squishy plush from the movie Monsters University, a Lalaloopsy Little, a Dolls of the World Chinese Barbie, two vintage dolls, an all vinyl Cabbage patch kid and a little asian corolle baby.

Next was the Disney store! The closest one is a good distance away, and I hadn't been there before, but it was close to my favorite restaurant so we made a detour there.
And I love what I got! I got 3 Disney Animator dolls: Pocahontas, Elsa and Anna, and I got the little figures for the new movie Inside Out. I usually don't buy Disney Animator dolls brand new, but I wanted these guys so badly!

After the Disney Store, we went to American Girl, and I got a lot of goodies.
I got Kit's desk, I already had the little extras, but now I finally have a place to put them.
I also got the new Truly Me #62 doll, and I customized her with a new wig. (She's wearing one of the new OG outfits)
And I got all these clothes as well.

Lastly I got 3 of the new Ever After High dolls from the birthday money my extended relatives sent me.
I misplaced Bunny's headpiece, but here are my dolls! I like having sibling doll sets, so I had to get Dexter and Darling, and I thought that Bunny was absolutely adorable.

BONUS:
The next day my mom went to Value Village again and got my these

All in all, I feel really grateful I was able to get all of these toys, and for spending the day with the family I love. I had a really fun day and good memories too

Pre-birthday thrift shopping

So today I had to go pick up a household appliance from craigslist, so I thought I might as well check out the thrift stores too.
First I stopped at my local Goodwill. My Goodwill (and most Goodwills in general, as I have heard) are very aware of AG and expensive items, so I don't expect those kind of deals there, but I have found Disney Animator dolls, which I collect and love, and BFC Ink dolls, which I do have a fondness for. Well as I looked through the long bin of assorted dolls, a purple dress caught my eye. I assumed it was just a generic Rapunzel doll, but then as I examined it, I was shocked to realize it was a Disney Animator Rapunzel! I didn't have her yet, and I really wanted her, so I was very excited to find her! I also found a little Ni Hao Kai-lan doll for $2, which I picked up for my love of asian dolls, due to my fiancee's heritage.
Next I went to Value Village. At that point I was really debating on going, I had been out and about for nearly 2 hours, and I just wanted to go home, but I had remembered that I had a discount due to me having a savers card and my birthday being the next day, so I figured "why not?" I was extremely thankful when I realized that I found a BLONDE BITTY TWIN GIRL! I hadn't ever found an AG doll before, so I was so happy to find her.
Here is a before pic of all the dolls...
And here are the after pictures of the Bitty Twin and Rapunzel
